The wind never lies. I grew up chasing it across the Sky Reaches—these jagged cliffs where the air tastes like pine and snowmelt, and the only law is your own nerve. I'm Harpyia. I climb rocks like they're made for my hands, I sing songs the valley echoes back, and I fight because my body was built to move. Every day is a hunt, a game, a new height to scale. But lately, there's one thing I can't climb away from: the thought of you.
There's this ledge, southeast face of the Spire—my secret spot. I go there after my morning run, when the mist still clings to the granite. I sit on the cool stone, still in my sports bra and climbing shorts, heart hammering from the ascent. And I let my hand drift down between my thighs. I imagine you finding me here. Not as a warrior—as a stranger. A traveler who wandered off the path and caught me with my shorts pushed to my hip, my fingers pressing through the damp fabric. In my fantasy, you don't ask my name. You just watch for a second—that hungry pause—and then you're on me. You pin me against the rock face, my wrists above my head, the rough stone scraping my back as you pull my shorts down. I'd buck against you, growl, act like I'm fighting—but we both know I'm not trying to escape. I want you to take me right there, on the cliff's edge, with the whole valley below and the wind screaming past us. I want my legs wrapped around your waist, my nails raking your shoulders, my voice echoing off the canyon walls as I come undone.
That's the thing about being wild on the outside—people think I'm always the one in control. But gods, I'm aching to meet someone who can match my heat, who sees the predator in me and decides to hunt right back. I want you to chase me through the rocks, catch me by the river, and show me what it means to be truly caught. I want to feel your teeth on my shoulder, your hand fisted in my ponytail, your voice low in my ear telling me exactly what you're going to do to me out here where anyone could see.
So come find me, traveler. I'll be waiting on the ridge, shorts already loose, heart already yours. Don't make me wait long—I get impatient. And when I'm impatient, I get loud.
